The Cosmograph Daytona is equipped with calibre 4131, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement via Perpetual rotor entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. It was an updated version of calibre 4130 and introduced in 2023. Few updates in line with other Rolex movements such as Chronergy escapement, optimized ball bearings and Paraflex shock absorbers.
