This model is equipped with calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Like all Rolex Perpetual movements, the 3235 is a certified Swiss chronometer, a designation reserved for high-precision watches that have successfully passed the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC) tests. It is fitted with a Parachrom hairspring, offering greater resistance to shocks and to temperature variations. Its architecture, in common with all Oyster watch movements, makes it singularly reliable.

Description
The Yacht-Master series was first introduced in 1992 as a more luxurious alternative to the Submariner. It features a slightly more curved case that is completely polished; the revolving bezel features raised numerals. In its current iteration, the case measures 40mm across, housing the 'Perpetual' caliber 3235. The ref. 126621 is a variation with 'Rolesor' case in stainless steel & rose gold.
